So I've been neglecting the blog for a few weeks because I was just at home preparing for my trip to London, and now that I'm back I have tons to share. I got back about two days ago and I'm definitely feeling the jet lag, but luckily I enjoy waking up early so it hasn't affected me too much. It feels really weird to be home after experiencing such a different place (even though I've been there before) but it feels like I was there for a lot longer than nine days. I can now safely say that if I could choose anywhere to live, it would be London. I just love the look & feel of everything and how easy it is to get around. Although I travel alone a lot, I usually get kind of anxious doing things by myself, but I feel like I could easily navigate the tube on my own and be completely fine. The only issue is of course the pound to dollar ratio, which I sort of got used to after a bit but it would definitely make living there a struggle. Maybe one day.
Anyway, I took an overnight flight and a friend picked us up and showed us around Windsor where the Queen's second home is (which I had no idea was a thing). It's like one of those cute little towns you would see in a movie with a bunch of shops and pubs everywhere. After walking around for a bit and making a pit stop at Nandos (of course), we spent the rest of the night in Reading with some friends. So in actuality these photos aren't even from London, but close enough right? I'm still trying to figure out how to break up the rest of the posts because I took so many photos, but stay tuned for a bunch more from actual London!
P.S. I'll also be posting lot of photos on my Instagram for the next few weeks, so follow me over at @dannifred if you want to see them!
