London On Film

After Paris, I took the Eurostar to London (my fave place ever!!). The train was fairly quick and convenient despite almost missing it and I think it was a better option than flying for me. I've been to London twice before this so it was nothing new, but I saw some things that I never got around to previously and had an all around amazing time. I saw one of my favorite bands, went to Camden a couple times and shopped around and ate too much vegan falafel, went on the London Eye, did the normal sightseeing things again because a couple of my friends had never been, and went out pretty much every night.

As I said in my last post, I took my film camera with me because I decided I needed to use it more and because I already have tons of photos of London on my digital camera. I think they came out really nice and I'm glad I did it! My only regret is coming home with an empty roll of film because I always think I'm going to run out. I'm already planning a trip back for sometime in March though. I've also submitted my grad school application so if all goes according to plan I'll be moving there for a year next fall!! Wish me luck and I hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving!

As always I'm posting a bunch more photos on my Instagram if you want to follow along.

  9. The colors on film are so interesting. They all look like they're stills pulled from a movie! Best of luck on your graduate school applications. Waiting is really the most harrowing part after submission!

  23. I think film cameras have that effect. There will always be a battle between analogical / digital cameras but there's something about film that the digital era will never achieve and I'm not sure why.
London is a beautiful place, one of my faves too. :) I loved the pictures.
